Children aged 2 years (Play group) and introduced to the idea of formal schooling. They are taken through the initial steps of communicating with adults other than their parents. They are introduced to children of their own age group. The main focus is upon socio emotional development, development of gross motor skills, and emotional independence. Mother toddler sessions are a regular part of their academic programme. Activities based on the Reggio approach will ensure that exploration, socialization, communication skills are developed.
Children aged 3 years (Nursery) and above are given a platform to explore, experience and experiment at their own pace. The learning objectives are specifically focused upon enhancing the child’s socio emotional development, psychomotor skills, physiological development and cognitive development. Mother toddler sessions have been designed to ensure that the parent is deeply involved with the educators in the initiation process.
Children aged 4 years and above (Jr KG) are provided learning opportunities to enhance their literacy skills and develop values and attitudes that play a vital role in becoming responsible individuals. A plethora of carefully designed activities and workshops at the Reggio center will enable these young minds to experiment, create and decipher the ‘WHY’ and ‘HOW’ of things.
Children aged 5 years and above (Sr KG) are given the experiences that will inculcate healthy habits, important behavioral and social skills like respect, patience, tolerance and conflict resolution. They will also develop logic and reasoning. The curriculum will take them through achievement levels in language and mathematical literacy and numeracy and opportunities to develop physical and mental abilities.Activities and workshops at the Reggio Center will help fortify understanding of key concepts, thus ensuring better comprehension and retention.
Children aged six years to eight (Grade 1,2) are exposed to a robust environment that provides avenues for hands-on experiences, and activities that strike a balance between the enhancement of necessary life skills, essential values and attitudes. We ensure that students are empowered with the much required Foundational literacy and numeracy that will help them imbibe the best that the institution will provide in the preparatory years.
